First Burn

- Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of glass/jar to prevent any tunnelling happening with future burn. This will ensure that future burns will burn nicely and no tunnelling happening.

- We recommend to burn candle for 2-4 hours depending on size and this helps release full potential of fragrance/scent.

Trimming wick

- Your wick will arrive to you pre-trimmed by Ej's wicked scents.

- Sometimes the wick may mushroom which is totally normal. This is easily fixed by trimming it to 6mm. Trimming ensures that your candle doesn't burn hotter than it should.

- Ensure you trim wick in between burns to maintain healthy flame and even burn.

Burn time

- Please DO NOT burn more than 4 hours at a time.

- If an candle is burnt for too longs without being allowed to cool and solidify again, it can burn out the sides or create wax pools which are a fire risk.

Keeping glass clean

- Wipe away any black marks on glass with tissue. This may be a sign that your wick is too long. Simply trim.
